Clyde Common Egg Nog

The blender stays on the whole time. Beat 6 whole eggs in a blender on medium for a minute. Add 9 oz white sugar (by volume; = 485 g by weight), blend for another minute. Add 1.5 tsp freshly-grated nutmeg, 6 oz añejo tequila, 8 oz Amontillado/Oloroso sherry, 18 oz whole milk, 12 oz heavy cream. Chill in refrigerator until cold. Serve with grated nutmeg. [Same as above, except substitutes tequila/sherry for cognac/rum.. It’s deeper and darker than conventional egg nog, with a slightly woody taste from the sherry. It’s awesome, and everyone will love it.] [About 5% ABV, so a light beer.]
