My first Parker novel was the The Score, then I went to the beginning and started back in order. They're all great so far. They're fun, exciting, short, cruel, brutal, and the end always satisfies. The Jugger might have one of my favorite endings so far. Westlake is like P.G. Wodehouse, Charles Portis, or Jack Vance: A guaranteed cure-all for boredom or the blues. These authors are priceless.
